The ATHENA Leadership Awards celebrate women as valued leaders of the community and recognizes those who support them. The award honors women and organizations that demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, excel in their chosen field, devote time to their community, and open paths so that others may follow.
Nominations are open for the 2026 ATHENA Leadership and Young Professional Leadership ATHENA Awards. These awards recognize exceptional women who excel in their careers, contribute to their communities, and develop women leaders. ATHENA Award recipients are women who, over time, meet the following 3 criteria:
• Demonstrates excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
• Provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the lives of others in the community.
• Actively assists women in realizing their full leadership potential.

Nomination Instructions:
• Nominees in each category must live, work, and/or serve in Dayton or the surrounding area.
• Nominees are encouraged to reserve March 18, 2026 as a potential celebration date.
• You are encouraged to work closely with your nominee to complete their nomination.
• Nominations must be submitted using this nomination form.
• You may include supporting documents (articles, testimonials, etc.) with your completed nomination form.
