The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization founded more than a century ago by a group of concerned citizens with a desire to ensure that "all animals will be wanted." Today the organization still operates with the purpose of building loving relationships between people and pets.
At the Humane Society
of Greater Dayton, our goal is to strengthen the human-animal bond and to
create loving, lifelong families through pet
ownership. Since 7 in
10 Subaru owners are also pet owners, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and
Subaru of Dayton have joined together for a Adopt-a-Thon at Subaru
of Dayton located at 995 Miamisburg-Centerville. Knowledgeable Humane
Society staff and volunteers will be performing Rabbit grooming! All
proceeds will go to support homeless rabbits at the shelter. Join us Sunday, February 19th, 2011 from 1- 5 pm at 995
Miamisburg-Centerville Road!
Adopting from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton doesn't just
help an animal find a forever family; it also makes good financial sense for
you.
All of our pets:
* Are spayed or neutered
* Are up to date on vaccinations and medical
care
* Receive world-class nutrition, thanks to the
generous support of The Lams Company
* Receive daily socialization and love
When you adopt, you'll receive a starter food packet, cat or dog
collar, information on local vets and pet-supply stores, and other relevant
brochures on issues like declawing, house-training and other topics.
